These travel teams will augment the games played in our local league and prepare players for competitive summer baseball. The training and games will focus on improving players’ offensive and defensive skills. This travel league will include teams from Concord, Lexington, Belmont, etc., so some travel is required. 

Tryouts for our spring 2021 teams will be held NOW!  

**The intention of holding tryouts in the fall is to build a foundation of training  throughout the winter.

Tryouts will be Sat Oct 31st 9-1030a and Sun Nov 1st 9-1030a. Players will only need to attend 1 tryout to be considered for the team.  The selection process will occur over the following week based on player evaluations from tryouts and from the players’ previous coaches evaluations. 

Sat Oct 31st is for the 11U and 10U teams 

Nov 1st is for 9U teams and anyone who is unable to attend on Oct 31st

Travel Team practices will run:

January 9th – March 28th 1x/wk  - All training sessions will take place at AtBats or Teamworks in Acton, based on coach and field availability.**

• U11 Birthdates:  05/01/2009 – 08/31/2010

• U10 Birthdates: 05/01/2010 – 08/31/2011

• U9 Birthdates: 05/01/2011 – 08/31/2012

All players meeting these age requirements are invited to try out for the teams. Players MUST register for the 2021 ABYB spring season to participate. These travel games ARE NOT a replacement for local games.

• The cost for this program is $300, in addition to the local spring registration fee. 

• The cost will cover training fees throughout the winter.

• Uniforms (hats and shirts) which will be provided.

• All game fees associated with the spring season.

Travel Team Games will be held:

Saturday or Sunday from April 3- June 6th trying to work around the ABYB and other local league schedules.

The travel program will be headed by coach Marc Antetomaso

· Three time ISL All Star at St. Sebastian's School

· Played Division I baseball at Seton Hall University

· Has coached and organized numerous camps for the last twenty years

IMPORTANT NOTE: The ABYB Spring Travel Team roster selection process has no connection to the summer Bay State and/or LLWS team selection process. Tryouts for those teams will still take place in May 2021. Selection to these Spring travel teams will have no impact on a players eligibility for the summer program teams.
